Kendall provides assistance in designing, implementing and servicing core employee benefits to people who need direction in all areas of retirement planning from a strategic standpoint, from an operational standpoint and from a management standpoint.

Kendall has worked with clients in improving participation in their retirement plans, making employees feel that they are being looked out for, having employees appreciate the plan that is in place, and being competitive with other companies. He is a Certified Financial Planner®, holds NASD Series 6, 63, 7 registrations and a Massachusetts Life, Accident & Health Producers License.

After attaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Brandeis University, Kendall joined MFS Investment Management in the business development area of their retirement plan group, and with Tucker Anthony, Inc. as a Retirement Plan Specialist working as an advisor to Tucker Anthony financial consultants to help them design, implement and service qualified retirement plans.

He has been recognized in the Boston Business Journal on the topic of selecting 401(k) vendors and in Financial Advisor Magazine on the state of the retirement plan industry. Since joining Longfellow Benefits in 2000, Kendall’s contributions to Longfellow include building the retirement practice fourfold in six years, while making significant impacts on clients in terms of helping employees and helping plan sponsors meet their retirement goals.

Kendall enjoys working with companies and their employees, having a direct impact on an organization, and applying technical expertise to new situations to come up with solutions.  In September 2007, Kendall was named one of “20 Rising Stars of Retirement Plan Advisors” by Institutional Investor magazine.
The Longfellow team acts as a true benefits partner, always taking the time that is needed to understand our business goals and challenges. In the end, we find that Longfellow delivers creative solutions that work, enhancing our benefits program and the firm overall.
