Longfellow Worksite Wellness
We understand the far-reaching impact that poor employee health can have on a company’s bottom line. Our approach to health care cost and productivity management includes execution of a proactive wellness strategy that focuses on the business case for wellness, incorporates best-practices, and is customized to the unique needs and culture of each employer.
Longfellow Wellness Services is led by the vision and expertise of Vice President Kristie Howard, Certified Wellness Program Director (CWPD)*, and co-founder of the Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts (www.wwcma.org).
The objectives of Longfellow Benefits’ Wellness Services are to:

*About the CWPD Certification:
Two of the most well-respected wellness organizations in the country, the National Wellness Institute and WebMD Health Services, have joined forces to offer the multilevel WellCert program for worksite wellness professionals. The WellCert program is based upon industry-recognized best practices for the design, execution and evaluation of worksite wellness programs that improve health and reduce costs. Each certification level is focused on twelve different key skills considered relevant to the size employer targeted in each level. As a Level-3 Certified Wellness Program Director, Kristie is qualified to direct wellness programs for small (less than 1,000 employees) through large-size organizations (greater than 10,000 employees).
