Cultural Assessment
Our associates thrive on building long-term relationships. We believe it is essential to have a deep and thorough understanding of our clients and their employees. We do this by performing a two-part cultural assessment focused on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Quantitative Assessment
The quantitative assessment includes a historical review of all benefits programs and renewals, an analysis of the current benefits programs, a compliance audit, and a presentation of findings. This assessment can be done relatively quickly and helps us understand the historical context of the current benefits program.
Qualitative Assessment
The qualitative assessment consists of getting to know the corporate philosophy, the decision-making environment, the demographics and unique attributes of the employee population, the physical attributes of the company’s campus and geographical spread, and the company’s core value system. This assessment is ongoing and can last for years, particularly as the organization evolves.
Staying close with our contacts, meeting regularly throughout the year, and presenting to employees helps us stay in tune with our clients' changing needs. Our high client retention and low associate turnover mean that our clients and their employees are seeing the same Longfellow faces year-over-year, who they come to recognize us as people they can trust.
