Federal Health Care Reform Update–Guidance and Planning for 2013 and Beyond
Despite the uncertainty surrounding health care reform implementation, most notably the Supreme Court Decision on the Constitutionality due in June, and the Presidential and Congressional elections in November, employers will need to set their 2013 and long term employee benefits strategy in the next few months. Employers should proceed as if the law(s) will continue to be implemented as currently constituted and based on published regulations and guidance.
This webinar will review the recent guidance on the Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) requirements that will be effective in September 2012 as well as the upcoming employer and individual responsibility provisions that will be effective in 2014 and will require advance planning and testing.
