As one of the founding Principals of Longfellow, Phil has worked since 1998 to grow the Longfellow brand and organization through client referrals and general business development. Phil also works with corporations in the design, strategy and implementation of non-qualified selective benefits for their key executives and he assists executives and high net worth individuals in understanding and obtaining appropriate insurance solutions as part of their wealth transfer strategies.

Phil has been in the insurance/benefit industry for over 25 years. Prior to founding Longfellow Benefits, Phil began his career with Northwestern Mutual and was a partner with Atlantic Benefit Group. Phil earned his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He holds his NASD Series 6 and 63 licenses, Massachusetts LA&H Producers License and is a Massachusetts Insurance Advisor (LIA).

In his community, Phil is involved in coaching youth baseball, softball and basketball. He is a Board Member of The Massachusetts Food Association and is Chairman of The Friends of UMASS Baseball, where he played in the early 1980’s.
