Pat is responsible for new business development, brand awareness, client service, and Longfellow associate management and development. He provides proactive, strategic financial and compliance advice to primarily large self-insured employers, municipalities, purchasing groups and small employers. He also provides education and awareness on funding arrangements, cost saving techniques, alternative purchasing groups, and legal and regulatory matters. Internally, Pat serves as the regulatory and health care reform subject matter expert on the Longfellow team. He reviews federal and state laws and regulations as they relate to employee benefits and develops articles, webinars, or other communications to educate his clients.
Having joined Longfellow in February 2004, Pat brought fifteen years of experience gained from working at Fidelity Investments, Hewitt Associates, and Watson Wyatt Worldwide. He earned at BSBA in Accounting and Management from Northeastern University and his MBA in Taxation from Bentley University. He has attained the professional designations of Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC), and Registered Health Underwriter (RHU). Pat is also a Licensed Insurance Advisor (LIA).
Pat is a member of several national and local employee benefits organizations and has spoken locally and nationally on employee benefits issues. He serves as the Greater Boston Chapter President of ISCEBS, Chairman, legislative Committee of NAIFA and is a member of NEEBC, MASS AHU, IFEBP, and SFSP. Pat has been published in IFEBP Benefits Magazine, Employee Benefit News, Workspan Magazine, and Boston Business Journal, to name a few.

Pat is Past Chairman for the Town of Norwell Advisory Board, Past Member for the Town of Hull Finance Committee, and Past special Alternate member for the Town of Norwell Zoning Board of Appeals. His hobbies include history and aviation.
