Lynn Gillis

Vice President, Client Services

Lynn’s core responsibilities are to manage client projects, work with clients on setting and reaching goals and objectives, and resolve client issues. As a result of her strong underwriting background, Lynn specializes in presenting and analyzing complex financial analysis such as stop-loss and alternative funding arrangements. By working closely with her client service team, she helps clients with strategy development and financial decision-making. She is also an internal resource for COBRA/FSA questions and market analysis. Her approach is to be collaborative and to bring a fresh, truly consultative approach to fulfilling her clients’ needs.

Prior to joining Longfellow in October 2012, Lynn worked as an underwriter with both Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island and HealthNet Northeast and then as a health benefits consultant for 7.5 years.  Lynn joined the benefits industry in 1999 following the achievement of a BA in Economics and a BS in Finance from Rhode Island College.

Lynn believes that Longfellow fosters a unique environment in which each individual feels welcome and their strengths are embraced. She appreciates that the firm is a place of collaboration and mentoring, where she continues to learn and grow every day.
