Karen Shea
Karen consults with Human Resource and Finance personnel on providing affordable benefits packages that are in line with corporate philosophies. She manages all aspects of the benefits renewal process with a focus on providing the financial analysis required to support recommendations and decision. She also is a resource for day-to-day questions and provides clients with compliance education and strategic guidance. Karen deeply values her client relationships and strives to provide a high level of customer service.
Karen joined Longfellow in July 2010 with a wealth of experience gained from over 17 years in the insurance industry. She earned a degree in Legal Administration from Dean College and is pursuing her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation.
What Karen loves about Longfellow is the environment and her coworkers. “I’m surrounded by intelligent, down-to-earth people and there’s something to be learned from everyone here. We’re all working equally hard toward a common goal which I find motivating.”

Karen enjoys learning about and engaging in fitness and wellness. She loves to take on the latest fitness craze and reads extensively on how to improve her overall health. She also enjoys spending time with her two nieces.
