John Galvin, CEBS

John works with employers to design, implement, and administer employee benefit plans that are aligned with the company’s short and long term goals. He services his clients proactively by keeping them informed of new legislation, products, and trends and he provides clients with the education, tools, and resources they need to maintain a competitive employee benefits package both in terms of plan design and cost.
John joined Longfellow as a consultant in January 2005. Prior to joining Longfellow, John was a Compliance Specialist at C.T. Hellmuth & Associates in Chevy Chase, MD, and also held positions in Human Resources at Benchmarking Partners in Cambridge, MA, and with John Hancock in their mutual fund group. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Vermont. He has earned his Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation.
At Longfellow, John likes that each member of the team has a different area of expertise, which allows him to constantly learn new skills and tools to become a better consultant.
