One of the founding Principals of Longfellow, Craig is primarily responsible for business development. He provides leadership and direction to the firm as the head of the Executive Benefits practice and enjoys an active role in mentoring Longfellow associates in the sales and marketing process.

Craig’s experience in the insurance industry spans 30+ years. Prior to forming Longfellow in January 1999, he served as Principal at Atlantic Benefit Group and agent with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. He enjoyed a minor league baseball career with the Chicago Cubs before entering the insurance industry in 1979. Craig graduated from College of the Holy Cross with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He is a Licensed Insurance Advisor in Massachusetts and has been published in Kiplinger’s Magazine, Financial Planning, and The Boston Business Journal.

Craig’s community involvement includes Director at Danversbank, Chair Governance Committee; past President of Literacy Volunteers of MA; Co-Founder and Board Member of the Holy Cross Entrepreneurs Group; Board Member, Holy Cross Gridiron Council; past President of the Literacy Volunteers of MA; past Board Member of National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), and past Board Member of the Massachusetts Hi-Tech Charity Foundation.

Craig takes a great deal of satisfaction in the collaborative spirit among his Longfellow associates.

Craig enjoys above all else time with his family, but, could also find enjoyment in the occasional golf outing, real estate renovations, spending time on Marco Island, FL and his beloved alma mater, the College of the Holy Cross.
