Longfellow Financial, LLC has been providing employee benefits consulting and advisory services to employers and individuals since 1999. Our firm was founded by three individuals who shared a common desire to create a service organization built upon the ideals of teamwork, accountability, and understanding – all essential qualities of a true partner. In 2009, we celebrated our 10th anniversary during which our founders reaffirmed Longfellow’s commitment to establishing meaningful, long-term partnerships with clients; maintaining a rewarding and stimulating work environment; promoting thought-leadership among associates; and constantly evolving. We recognize that who we are as a company is what enables us to forward our mission of guiding employers and employees through the complexities and challenges of employee benefits. In other words, it literally starts with us.
In 2010, Longfellow’s Retirement and Financial Planning practices were carved out from the Health and Welfare practice to form Longfellow Advisors. The delineation was due in part to our growth in all practice areas and need to establish scalability in each area of specialty, as well as to ensure full compliance with SEC regulations. To this day, however, Longfellow Advisors and Longfellow Benefits remain under the same roof in Boston, Massachusetts, where we’ve been working collaboratively toward the same goals for the last eleven years--and will continue to do so.
Longfellow was highlighted as a High Performing Organization by the Center for Organizational Performance, The Netherlands in 2010 and has been recognized by the Boston Business Journal as one of Boston’s “Best Places to Work” for seven consecutive years, 2005 – 2012. Longfellow is a privately held firm serving clients nationally and internationally.
